Description
Soil Nailing Analysis SNL is the software aimed at the design and calculation of slopes or excavation faces reinforced with the soil nailing technique. It is possible to take into account nails with variable characteristics along the vertical development of the wall, both in static and pseudo-static conditions, also in the presence of a water level and for heterogeneous soils.
It is possible to perform all the verifications accounting for the different excavation stages, also according to the applicable standards.
GENERAL FEATURES
The main characteristics of the software are listed in the following:
- Any nail can be characterized by a diameter, length and inclination variable along the vertical elevation of the wall;
- The vertical spacing between the nails can be variable;
- It is possible to analyze the stability condition of the wall accounting for the different excavation stages;
- The soil can be stratified;
- It is possible to account for the presence of an eventual water level;
- The loads applied at the top of the wall can be uniform, strips or lines;
- The software performs the analysis both in static and pseudo-static conditions;
- It is possible to employ the standards approach (for example Eurocodes), using the coefficients defined by the specific standards.

- Verification against the structural failure of the nails;
- Sliding verification;
- Global verification (in interoperability with the software SLOPE);
