Description
Global Stability Analysis – GSA is a modular software that acquires all necessary information to perform autonomously the calculation process, independently of the software that calls it.
Global Stability Analysis – GSA checks for global stability for any type of geotechnical work: Retaining walls, Sheet pile walls, Reinforced earth, Gabions and Free form elements. Based on the type of work to analyze Global Stability Analysis – GSA adapts the computation type: for rigid walls, checks the global sliding surfaces, while for flexible walls, makes the internal checks of the work itself.
For gabion walls, the external sliding surfaces and the ones internal to the gabion itself are verified, with a check for wire mesh failure.
In the presence of reinforced earth with any type of reinforcements: bars, geosynthetics, double twist wire mesh, geogrids, etc. internal checks are performed: Tieback & Compound and Global stability.
Foundations on piles can be performed in other stability analyses with different stability criteria, even the ultimate limit state design of piles using Broms criterion.
Besides circular sliding surfaces, free-form surfaces can also be analyzed: logarithmic spirals, broken polynomial lines, etc. GSA automatically imports data from the Geostru software and offers a detailed computation report.
