GeoStru – Present as a Sponsor at the Romanian Conference on Geosynthetics GeoSint 2025 in Bucharest
The Romanian Association for Geosynthetics (ARG / IGS Romania) has previously organized three editions of the national symposium in 1998, 2002, and 2007. After an 18-year hiatus, it was decided to resume the tradition of bringing together geosynthetics specialists in a new format suited to today’s society.
GeoStru is honored to participate as a sponsor at the Romanian Conference on Geosynthetics – 4th edition, a key event in the field of geosynthetics. The conference will take place on April 3-4, 2025, bringing together specialists, researchers, and professionals in the field of geotechnical engineering, focusing on the sustainable and efficient use of geosynthetics.
The event will feature the presentation of specialist scientific papers and 4-6 lectures by internationally recognized experts, including:
🔹 Samuel (Sam) Allen – President of IGS, specialist in polymer and geosynthetic material testing
🔹 Prof. Dr. Daniele Cazzuffi – Former IGS President (2002-2006), expert in the use of geosynthetics in dams and reservoirs

🔹 Prof. Dr.-Ing. Martin Ziegler – Former Chair of the IGS Regional Activities Committee, expert in soil-geosynthetic interaction
