Global Stability Analysis – GSA

Global Stability Analysis – GSA is modular software that acquires all necessary information to perform autonomously the calculation process, independently of the software that calls it.

GSA makes the check for global stability for any type of geotechnical work: Retaining walls, Sheet pile walls, Reinforced earth, Gabions and Free form elements.

Global Stability Analysis – GSA is free ONLY for the users of one of the following software: MDC, SPW, LOADCAP, GDW.

Description

Global Stability Analysis – GSA is a modular software that acquires all necessary information to perform autonomously the calculation process, independently of the software that calls it.

Global Stability Analysis – GSA makes the check for global stability for any type of geotechnical work: Retaining walls, Sheet pile walls, Reinforced earth, Gabions and Free form elements. Based on the type of work to analyze Global Stability Analysis – GSA adapts the computation type: for rigid walls checks the global sliding surfaces while for flexible walls makes the internal checks of the work itself.  For gabion walls are verified the external sliding surfaces and the ones internal to the gabion itself, with check for wire mesh failure.  In the presence of reinforce earth with any type of reinforcements: bars, geosynthetics, double twist wire mesh, geogrids, etc. internal check are performed: Tieback & Compound and Global stability.
For foundations on piles can be performed other stability analysis with different stability criteria, eve the ultimate limit state design of piles using Broms criterion. Besides circular sliding surfaces, free form surfaces can also be analyzed: logarithmic spiral, broken polynomial line, etc. GSA automatically imports data from the Geostru software and offers a detailed computation report.
