In accordance with the Italian Technical Standards for Construction (NTC 2018), section 10.2, and with the reliability requirements for calculation tools of the Eurocodes (EN 1990), this validation work demonstrates the reliability of GEOSTRU software.

The standard explicitly requires that the following points be discussed:

  • Identification of the fields of application of the program;
  • Description of the theoretical bases;
  • Testing of the program through fully solved and commented test cases.

The validation tests have been carried out with the utmost care on recent versions of the software. The validation document and the files are provided. Please open the files with the version specified in the validation document. The most recent packages contain the validation document in both Italian and English.
