Loadcap 2021 updating

We are pleased to announce you a new Loadcap software version: Loadcap 2021.
It must not be considered as a minor release but Loadcap 2021 is a software completely rewritten in a new programming language, which will allow for greater performance and full compatibility with the new devices.
During rewriting of it, we preserved the same user interface enriching and improving its functionality.
The new version files have a new extension *.FONX and it is not backward compatible; however we developed an automatic conversion software from *.FON to *.FONX. The converter does not guarantee 100% compatibility, therefore it is recommended to check the converted files.
Furthermore, we recommend keeping both versions for a short time, not removing the previous one.

In this paper, the authors propose alternative methods for calculating compaction in sedimentary basin and, in particular, suggest the use of Loadcap software.
On that basis, Geostru company wanted to tell more about the concept of subsidence and the usefulness of Loadcap for calculating compaction in sedimentary basin relating to subsidence itself."
