En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os se escucha hablar mucho sobre BIM (<a href=\"https:\/\/it.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Building_Information_Modeling\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Building Information Modeling<\/a>), generalmente asociado a la modelaci\u00f3n tridimensional aplicada a la arquitectura. A veces inclusive da la impresi\u00f3n de que el BIM no puede tener conexiones con otras disciplinas, mucho menos con la Geolog\u00eda y Geotecnia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sin embargo el BIM, dado que es un m\u00e9todo, puede ser aplicado en varias disciplinas y por lo tanto aplicarlo a la Geotecnia no solo es factible, sino que adem\u00e1s puede traer muchas ventajas, como por ejemplo una concreta econom\u00eda en t\u00e9rminos de tiempo y de costos, independientemente del software que se utilice.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Proyectar en modo \u201cBIM oriented\u201d significa poder comunicarse con colegas y compa\u00f1eros que usan otros software, sin ninguna p\u00e9rdida en la calidad del propio proyecto y conservando la totalidad de los datos presentes en el mismo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los software Geostru, como bien saben nuestros usuarios, permiten una interoperabilidad de los datos mediante el formato edp. Mediante este formato, de hecho, se pueden transferir informaciones de un software a otro sin p\u00e9rdidas de informaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>El formato edp es un formato Geostru abierto, estructurado con codificaci\u00f3n ASCII, mas no ideal para el intercambio global.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Actualmente existen dos formatos de \u201cintercambio\u201d espec\u00edficamente desarrollados para la transferencia de los datos geot\u00e9cnicos. Uno es el <a href=\"http:\/\/dev-diggs.asce.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DIGGS<\/a>, de la American Society of Civil Engineers y el otro es el <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ags.org.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AGS<\/a>, de la Association of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Specialists.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Estos formatos establecen los c\u00f3digos, los elementos y los campos que se deben utilizar.\u00a0Los datos son intercambiables entre uno y otro formato, con solo algunas peque\u00f1as diferencias sem\u00e1nticas en la forma de utilizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Recientemente hemos hecho que nuestros software sean compatibles con el formato AGS4. In 1999 he founded Geostru, the well-known international software company, for which he produced hundreds of software and sophisticated analysis algorithms. Maturing experience in: advanced mathematical models 2D \/ 3D and graphics programming with OpenGL and DirectX. Between 2000-2014 he was co-supervisor of numerous degree theses and author of technical articles published by Ingenium Edizioni. Between 2014-2019 he published articles in international technical journals and coordinated important university research projects. Since 2014 he is a member of: AGI, ISRM, ISSMGE, AGI-IGS and certificate of AGS (Association of Geotechnical &amp; Geoenvironmental Specialists).
