It is also possible to reinforce the soil with geosynthetics.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Loadcap<\/b> is a software for the <strong>bearing capacity<\/strong> and <strong>settlements<\/strong> computation on rocks and loose soils, according to the methods of <strong>Terzaghi<\/strong> (1955), <strong>Meyerhof<\/strong> (1963), <strong>Hansen<\/strong> (1970), <strong>Vesic<\/strong> (1975), <strong>Brinch-Hansen<\/strong> (1970), <strong>Richards et al.<\/strong> (1993), <strong>Meyerhof and Hanna<\/strong> (1978).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the software, it is possible to choose several types of settlements, such as <strong>Elastic<\/strong> (Timoshenko and Goodier, 1951), <strong>Oedometric, Schmertmann<\/strong> (1970-1978), <strong>Burland and Burbidge<\/strong> (1985), and <strong>post-seismic<\/strong> (Idriss and Boulanger, 2004-2008; Pradel, 1998; Yasuhara and Andersen, 1991). In addition to calculating settlements, Loadcap allows for determining the settlement progression over time through the theory of consolidation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Moreover, <strong>Loadcap<\/strong> solves liquefaction cases using the method of Seed and Idriss (1971) and allows to carry out soil reinforced analysis with <strong>geogrids<\/strong> by computing the increased bearing capacity, deformation in the reinforcements, strain tensile force for geogrid effect.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Loadcap<\/strong> also calculates edometric and elastic differential settlements in 3D.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Starting from the 2025 version<\/strong>, LoadCap allows the design of road and railway embankments.
