Description

Pile and micropile software is intended to calculate the bearing capacity of the foundation terrain of a pile or micropile in whatever load distribution (moment, normal force, shear).

The worksheet, which shows the plan of piles or micro piles inserted in the foundation terrain, may be dimensioned as required.

Geometric characteristics of the paling and the elements connected thereto (loads, location of trial sounding/boring and seismic stress) together with the geotechnical parameters of the terrain may be entered and altered within the worksheet, activating the available functions either in the drop-down menus, relocatable toolbars or through hotkeys.

    • Friction of embedded piles in rock in according to Pérez Carballo (2010): Thorne, Poulos and Davis, Australian Code, Hooly and Lefroy, Spanish Technical Code, Theories that consider the τult as a quadratic function of the compressive strength of rock Rc.

MICROPILE TYPES

    • For Tubifix types, Mayer or Bustamante e Doix methodology may be applied;
    • Micropiles in layers having raised mechanic characteristics;
